As part of Kaminski Family Funeral Homes & Crematorium located in Justice & Chicago, IL, we have created a separate facility just for you and your pet. As with all of our facilities, our professional and compassionate staff are here to assist you and honor your wishes with dignity and grace.

Each pet is cremated individually, no communal or group cremations are offered. It is your pet and your pet alone whose ashes you will receive. As part of Kaminski Family Funeral Homes & Crematorium located in Justice & Chicago, IL, we have created a separate facility with a comfortable home-like interior to serve you and your pet. As with each of our facilities, our professional/compassionate staff will assist you and honor your wishes with dignity and grace. Each pet is treated with compassion and care as if they were our own. We are a family-owned and operated, serving families just like us.

Our Facilities

Our Facility Includes a Private Family Viewing Room:

  • Comfortable Home-like Interior
  • Cremation Witnessing
  • Crematorium Unit Just for Pets

We offer a comfortable companion room for the final viewing of your pet. This room also allows you to witness the cremation if you so desire. Witnessing the cremation can offer peace of mind and closure for some and can be an important part of the grieving process. All cremation witnessing requests must be disclosed at the time you request our services. This allows us to serve you best and allows us to reserve this time just for you and your family. Witnessing the cremation is only available from Mon - Fri 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. An additional fee is required for this service. Evening and weekend witnessing availability are based on staff availability only. Use of the companion room without witnessing is limited to 30 minutes. If more time is required an additional fee of $50 per half-hour is required. 

 

Services We Offer

We specialize and only offer private/individual pet cremation. This means your pet and your pet alone is cremated and the ashes you receive are that of your pet only. You are assured peace of mind with our identification system which specifically assigns your pet an individual identification tag that is unique to your pet and your pet alone. No two pets will ever have the same identification number. This identification tag stays with your pet throughout the entire process and is given to you upon receiving the ashes. Our cremation certificate clearly state that your pet received a private cremations.
